The buffet breakfast that we serve is mainly based on local, organic and fair trade products with milk, coffee, tea, bread, biscuits, “Spongada” (the buns are typical of the area), butter, jam, honey , yogurt, cereals, juices and water. The honey comes from the three hives that we have on the terraces above the B & B: and is known as our “Miele di Roccia” (Honey from the Rock)! The cheerful breakfast crockery was hand made especially for the B&B L’orto di BaLù by Miriam Turoldo, an artist who creates amusing, original non-toxic terracotta pots.

We are members of “Legambiente Turismo” and by means of small acts, such as avoiding using single portions and offering guests mountain tap water we can help to safeguard our planet.
